“Climate change is the single greatest threat to a sustainable future but, at the same time, addressing the climate challenge presents a golden opportunity to promote prosperity, security and a brighter future for all” – BAN KI-MOON Secretary General, United Nations
“This is our last chance at combatting climate change as we can no longer reverse the clock, but we can prevent it from getting worse. It is up to us whether we get lauded or vilified by the next generations” – LEONARDO DiCAPRIO U.N. Messenger of Peace

This documentary, from Academy Award-winning filmmaker Fisher Stevens and Academy Award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, sheds light on the current landscape of the climate change debate. Core issues addressed in the documentary are fossil fuels, methane gas, palm oil, the geopolitical landscape and US political landscape.
I strongly recommend to watch this journey across Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, Australia and the Arctic.
You can download the documentary from: iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay, you can as well find all the information in the documentary discussion guide
but how can I help delay/avoid/cancel the effects?

Hi, many thanks for your question. Every good answer starts with a good question.
If you are already engaged in learning and adapting you consumer behaviours, bravo! I would suggest to keep doing it and start talking about the issues and opportunities with your network. I know it is a topic many people tend to avoid, and so you need to be brave and respectful with your communication.
If you are just at the beginning, and want to be informed, I would recommend to watch some documentaries to start with. There are many interesting ones out here: The true cost, Prosperity, Demain, Cowspiracy, Before the flood (you can find the links to them in the blog). A can find a very good library of documentaries in Netflix.
I wish you all the best in your journey
